Monday!

MarketingMondays

Today is the day! First day of Summer Quarter. Yuck. I would have loved to take Summer off but if I want to graduate before my kids make it to college, I need to keep moving. I managed to get a decent load this quarter though thankfully. Taking an Economics class and a Keyboarding class online and then a Desktop Publishing class just once a week.

I am starting to feel like a broken record since the kid's Summer vacation began. For some reason when Summer starts, the kids think all rules go out the window. We have scolded our 5 year old over and over again about climbing the doorways in the house. Every time I turn around that little monkey is at the top of a doorway and I have been saying over and over again "Josh get down from there before you get hurt." Well over the weekend, he finally got hurt so maybe he will finally stop. He fell from the top, face first and has a pretty nasty bruise on his nose.  Oh well. Guess it goes with the gash across his forehead. That boy scares the daylights out of me. No fear at all!

Anyway, Happy Monday. Hope you all have a great week.

  1. I went back to school a couple of years ago after a LONG break. Being in class during the summer was no fun, but graduating was awesome!

  3. My 5 year old daughter is the exact same way! I hope your boy learns his lesson, unlike my girl who will end up forgetting her pain and do it ALL over again. Good luck with your class! :)

  5. I had to laugh at the climbing the door frames thing. I can't tell you how many times I got yelled at for doing that :) I eventually grew out of it (no bruised nose to show for it). Good luck!!

  6. I went back to school when my son was 3 and graduated when he was 5. My hope is he'll remember how much time it took etc. and will not take the break I did and just finish college when he's done with high school. :)

My son (now 10) just said to me today, "It's summer, why do I have to do chores?" Why DO they think everything goes out the window when school's out?!

    Happy Monday!

  7. I never busted up my nose climbing doorways, but I did break my nose on the monekeybars when I was a little kid- I think I was about 6 at the time. Face first... SLAM!
